SHNU: Jianyong Teng, SHNU Party Secretary, led a team to visit Глазунов Высшая школа музыки, СПбГК, Herzen University and Yerevan State University of Armenia from June 25th to July 2nd. The SHNU held in-depth talks with the above-mentioned universities in terms of cooperative education, teachers and students exchange, academic cooperation, arts show and resource sharing, etc.
Teng also visited SHNU students learning abroad in Russia and conferred graduate certificates to them together with his Russian counterpart. Both sides also explored possibilities of more cooperation in university exchange and arts performance. Since 2010, SHNU has developed 8 bachelor’s degree holders and 33 masters of arts, as well as 12 vice-doctoral graduates of cooperative education programs.
Teng also visited Herzen for reaching understanding in music education, academic exchanges, cooperative research and Russian language education,etc.
During their stay in Yerevan, the SHNU visitors held talks with Vice President of the Yerevan and discussed about chances of establishing Confucius Institute, university exchanges before both sides signed Memorandum of Cooperation.
