SHNU: The 2017 Graduation Ceremony of Overseas Precollege Students was held in SHNU on June 23rd. It was attended by Jianhua Gao, SHNU Vice President, who conferred the graduation certificate to all those who completed their academic work in universities of Shanghai.
The Russian students representatives recalled details of one year learning life in precollege with fluent Chinese and thanked SHNU for offering comfortable accommodations and learning environment.
The ceremony was kicked off with a song from a Mongolian student who extended a sense of nostalgia. Graduates from Rwanda and Vietnam performed poem recital to extend their zeal for Chinese language. It also contained calligraphic works and speeches.
Altogether there are 76 graduates from 27 precolleges of Shanghai this year. All the trainers are from ICCS, College of Humanities and Literature, Foreign Language College and College of Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering of SHNU.
Among the graduates, 69 have passed the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi or Chinese language proficiency) test this May.
