SHNU: Sponsored by Shanghai Chinese Language Society and Shanghai Youth Committee of Linguistic Scholars, the 9th Shanghai Youth Linguistic Forum of Chinese Society was held on June24th at SHNU. It involves over 90 young and middle-aged experts and scholars from such universities as Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, Shanghai Foreign Studies University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Beijing Language and Culture University, and Central China Normal University, etc.
Altogether 54 papers have been delivered to the conference. The participants discussed about the second language education, integration and innovation of vocabulary, and interaction of language systems on different levels, etc. Academic reports were also caught up with heated applaud.
Until now, the language forum of its kind has been held for the 9th year and offers an effective exchange platform for young scholars from across China.
