1. Purpose of the activity: To display the talent of teachers and students of SHNU, promote the university spirit, and publicize the theme of celebration – teacher’s moral has an eternal value. 2. Participants: All the SHNU staff (including those who have retired), SHNU alumni both at home and abroad, people from all walks of life who concern about and support the development of SHNU. 3. Requirements: The work should be able to interpret the theme of the celebration and the connotation of the university motto; it should display and help shape the positive spirit of SHNU teachers and students; the language, regardless of its style, should be concise and aspiring and show artistic expressiveness and features of the times; it should be original and has never been known by others or published in any form. As long as it is adopted, the copyright belongs to the university. 4. Contributing method: The work can either be sent by email or posted to the university before April 30, 2009. Selection and Reward: After preliminary examination, the work of 10 candidates shall be chosen and the finalist will be selected from them; the names of the eventual winners will be announced both on the celebration website and on the homepage of the university.
