The 2019 China National Huawei Cup Biological Internet Design Contest for University Students wound up a success at SichuanUniversity in China’s west on August 23rd. A team of three students from SHNU College of Information and Mechanical Engineering won the first prize at the final with their works Intelligent Fruit Scale.
The contest drew the participation of over 8,000 candidates, about 2,000 teams, over 2,000 tutors from over 560 universities across China. After preliminaries and semifinals in five different regions, 119 teams entered the national final and 35 teams won the first prize.
The SHNU team also won the first prize to tribute to the 65th founding anniversary of SHNU.
