SHNU Student Train Candidates to Win Runner-up for FRC Championship

The FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) was held at Huston, USA from March 18th to 20th. A team from Nanjing, China, beat 6 local American teams to win the Runner-up Prize for the World Final, which marks a historic breakthrough for Chinese candidates. Feng Zijing, a student from SHNU College of Information and Mechanical Engineering, is invited to train these awarded students from Nanjing No. 1 Middle School of China’s Jiangsu Province.

  

Since 2017, the Artificial Intelligence Trial Class, Artificial Intelligence STEAM Education Research Center and Robots Society have been founded by SHNU College of Information and Mechanical Engineering. All these university social clubs have contributed to cultivating a series of outstanding talents to work as a trainer and educator from a trainee and learner.

  

Founded by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), an American non-profit organization, the FRC is a competition of industrial robots for all middle schools around the world. So far, 28 competitions have been held and attracted over 6, 771 teams.
