The 3rd Online National Natural Resources Works Designing Contest ended in Nanjing on December 12th.

Aiming at Priority to Ecology and Low Carbon Emissions, the contest would serve as a platform to develop a green developmental concept based on a harmonious development balance of human and nature.

The SHNU team from College of Environmental and Geographical Sciences won the second prize at this national designing contest by choosing the Village of Lianhu, a paragon region of Yangtze Delta Green Ecological Development Zone to survey on the low-carbon industry and explore more means of support for the sustainable development.

Since this October, SHNU teachers and students from College of Environmental and Geographical Sciences have established a Field Observation Research Site at Jinze, Qingpu District in western Shanghai. They are expected to contribute more to the green ecological development of Yangtze Delta.
