Recently, a teacher from CI(Confucius Institute) of University of Missouri and a Chinese language volunteer were invited to start a series of cultural experience activities at four public middle schools in the US.
The Chinese teachers attracted audiences with martial arts Kong Fu and Kongfu Fans at Rock Bridge High School, performed Taiji and Wuqin (five animals: tiger, deer, bear, ape and bird) arts at Lange Middle School. The performers also reviewed clips of Kongfu Panda, a well-known movie at Oakland Middle School.
Their performances promoted a truth that Chinese martial arts do not just belong to China, but to the world.
