Recently, the third National Education Design Innovation Contest drew to an end and SHNU Team led by Shao Lin, assistant professor from College of Environment and Geographical Sciences won the third prize and had a breakthrough in national education contests results of SHNU. This contest has been reckoned as one important indicator of education development of university teachers.
It lasted about five months and involved three stages: university selection, semi-finals and final run. About 360 programs from 157 universities were submitted for the competition. At the final, four SHNU teachers outrivalled with their course Urban Planning Theories aiming at solving the urgency of urban space insufficiency, boosting people’s convictions of cities and penetrating into the theorems of urban space. A multifaceted curricular system has been established by fusing interpersonal lectures, urban surveys and online education resources, etc.
