Invited by University of Michigan, SHNU College of Music cooperated with Shanghai Music Conservatory to stage Chinese classic poems and music into American universities.
Quite a few ancient Chinese poems were accompanied with piano and other musical instruments. The audiences were attracted and moved by the songs and performances of Chinese classic words and rhythms of poems. .
Followed by the show, an academic lecture on Music Culture of Beisong Dynasty was delivered to the American audiences back to that China’s ancient time of over a thousand years ago.
