The Founding Ceremony of SHNU College of Life Sciences was held at SHNU Music Hall on December 8th. It was attended by SHNU Party Secretary Teng Jianyong, SHNU Vice President Chen Heng, Former President of Beijing University, and Former Director of Shanghai Research Institute of Life Sciences. It was also witnessed by about 600 teachers and students.
Speeches were delivered by scholars to congratulate on the success of the ceremony. A roundtable forum followed as regards suggestions and proposals on the development of the newly-founded college.
