After expert evaluation organized by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, SHNU, along with seven other sister universities including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University, East China University of Political Science and Law, and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, has been approved as the Shanghai Education Legislation Consulting and Service Research Base for the years from 2024 to 2026. This is also the second time SHNU has been approved for the construction of this base after the first phase of construction from 2016 to 2023.
Since SHNU was approved as the Shanghai Education Legislation Consulting and Service Research Base in 2016, we have leveraged the comprehensive university platform advantages of the coordinated development of disciplines such as humanities, science, engineering, and arts, with a focus on humanities and teacher education characteristics. Our team has integrated internal and external members to create a new liberal arts cooperation team for education rule of law, achieving the legal integration of administrative law, legal theory, civil and commercial law, network and information law, the interdisciplinary cooperation among legal sciences, education, management science and artificial intelligence and collaboration in sharing resources in different cities and institutes.
