Fellows of the Royal Academy of Engineering Visited SHNU

On the afternoon of March 28th, SHNU Vice President Li Ye met visiting members of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Professor Asoke Nandi and his wife from Brunel University London (Brunel), as well as Professor Li Maozhen from Brunel University and part-time professor at Shanghai Normal University. The participants also included those from SHNU School of Information, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Li pointed out that in recent years, the school has actively promoted the integration of artificial intelligence technology and teacher education characteristics in the School of Engineering. Over the years, relying on the platform of the International Joint Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Education between the two schools, Professor Li Maozhen has collaborated with SHNU teachers to publish 12 international papers, making outstanding contributions to the international cooperation of scientific research between the school and the college.

Professor Asoke Nandi expressed a great willingness to promote cooperation and exchange between the two schools in more fields. He and his wife were impressed by the exquisite exhibition and rich historical materials of SHNU History Museum.

During this trip, Professor Asoke Nandi interacted with SHNU undergraduates and graduate students to understand the characteristics of artificial intelligence+education.

Professor Nandi is a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK and also a member of six other institutions, including IEEE. He has published over 650 technical publications, including 300 journal articles and six works.
